Services Provided

a) Clinical Services:

  • Handling and Treatment of farm animals, small ruminants and companion animals. Animal birth control programmes, Elective C-section, OHE for pyometra. Semen collection and Artificial Insemination in companion animals. Clinical services to different villages through Ambulatory unit.

b) Diagnostic Services:

  • Ultrasound machine for pregnancy diagnosis diagnosis of reproductive disorders and follicular and luteal dynamics.
  • Exfoliative vaginal cytology for breeding advice to dogs.
  • Assessment of Semen Quality using Phase contrast microscope and its kinetics (CASA)

c) Training:

  • –Training to various self help groups and farmers in collaboration with Extension Department.
